Ionic Detox Footbaths for Kids <=12 yo

Service Description

Please select the initial consultation session first if you are new to working with me or have new concerns to ensure the detox footbath is right for you and so that I can create a customized detox plan for you beforehand to support a gentle and effective detox. This session includes an ionic cell cleanser treatment with hands or feet in the water for 10-20 mins (varies w/ age) with some extra time for discussion and clean-up before/after, so approximately 30 mins total. The Ionic Cell Cleanser infuses negative and positive ions into the water. These ions are then absorbed through your skin (feet or hands) and they help clear meridians and open up the detoxification pathways.  Electrolysis also occurs where negatively charged ions attract positively charged toxins, and positively charged ions attract negatively charged toxins out of the tissues to be eliminated by the body. This cleansing process lasts for approximately up to one week after the treatment (sometimes longer). CONTRAINDICATIONS: Anyone who falls into one or more of the categories listed below should not use the Detox Ionic Foot-Bath: ​ · A wearer of a pacemaker or any other battery operated or electrical implant · Pregnant or nursing women · Any person who is on heartbeat regulating medication · Any person who is on blood thinners · Any person who has had an organ transplant · Any person who is taking a medication, the absence of which would mentally or physically incapacitate them, e.g., psychotic episodes, seizures, etc. In addition, the following recommendations should be strongly considered: • Many medications require that a blood level be maintained in order to be effective, such as blood pressure or seizure medication. • If you have low blood sugar make sure you have eaten before the Detox Ionic Foot-Bath session. The Detox Ionic Foot-Bath tends to lower blood sugar in diabetics and may do so with those who are hypoglycemic. • As a general rule, you can use the Detox Ionic Foot-Bath if you are on dialysis, take insulin, or have congestive heart failure. Gentle purification will help the body eliminate toxins which the kidney and heart cannot eliminate on their own, but will not interfere with medications or deplete insulin levels. • You can still use the Detox Ionic Foot-Bath if you have a metal joint implant, although some have found the exposure to an electromagnetic field to be too uncomfortable. If you feel uncomfortable, ask your therapist to stop the session immediately.

To cancel or reschedule a session please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Payment can be made via e-transfer or cash instead of credit card if preferred. Packages are non-refundable.
